SV	Daarom zijn wij ook zeer begerig, hetzij inwonende, hetzij uitwonende, om Hem welbehagelijk te zijn.

ASV	Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.
BE	For this reason we make it our purpose, in the body or away from it, to be well-pleasing to him.
Byz	διο και φιλοτιμουμεθα ειτε ενδημουντες ειτε εκδημουντες ευαρεστοι αυτω ειναι
Darby	Wherefore also we are zealous, whether present or absent, to be agreeable to him.
ELB05	Deshalb beeifern wir uns auch, ob einheimisch oder ausheimisch, ihm wohlgefällig zu sein.
LSG	C'est pour cela aussi que nous nous efforçons de lui être agréables, soit que nous demeurions dans ce corps, soit que nous le quittions.
Pesh	ܘܡܬܚܦܛܝܢܢ ܕܐܢ ܥܢܘܕܐ ܚܢܢ ܘܐܢ ܥܡܘܪܐ ܠܗ ܗܘܝܢ ܫܦܪܝܢ ܀
Sch	Darum setzen wir auch unsere Ehre darein, wir seien daheim oder wallen, daß wir ihm wohlgefallen.
Scriv	διο και φιλοτιμουμεθα ειτε ενδημουντες ειτε εκδημουντες ευαρεστοι αυτω ειναι
Web	Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted by him.
Weym	And for this reason also we make it our ambition, whether at home or in exile, to please Him perfectly.
